"My vision is to inspire action & empower women throughout the world to positively transform their lifestyle, by applying my uniquely innovative health & wellness programs."

I’m so excited and can’t wait to share with you all my experiences, ideas and knowledge so far on health, fitness & wellbeing. I am so passionate about this and really hope to help influence positive change in others. I’d like to introduce you to a quick insight of my life so far and how I have become the person I am today.

Having been involved in the fitness industry from a very young age and growing up with an active and healthy lifestyle, this has provided me with the opportunity to be able to successfully maintain an active and healthy lifestyle my entire life – and to be able to share health & fitness with you!

I still remember the day I received an unexpected letter from the Queensland Academy of Sport identifying me as a successful athlete within a ‘Talent Search’ conducted across schools throughout the state and offering me a Full Scholarship to partake training and competing in the sport of Triathlon. Being just 13 years of age, I was willing to give anything a go and was super excited about this new opportunity – even if I didn’t know what a ‘Triathlon’ was!

Having the full support of the Queensland Academy of Sport and their coaches, physiotherapists, nutritionists, psychologists etc I quickly found myself; holding a scholarship at an All Girls Greater Private School, being part of the Junior Elite Triathlon Squad (backed by the Australian Academy of Sport), holding sponsorships from Red Bull, Body Science and Saucony AND being an Australian Champion – all by the age of 16!

My everyday life had become an extremely thorough schedule consisting of gruelling and vigorous training, constant blood tests and monitoring, strict nutrition and lots of learning (including studying full time at high school). Every minute of my day was monitored and recorded from the very moment I opened my eyes. One example is that before getting out of bed, sitting up or even moving, I was required to take note of my heart rate (beats per minute) while still lying down then record it in a notebook on my bedside table. This provided a true indication of my resting heart rate and my fitness level at the time – I sometimes even slept with a heart rate monitor on! Each triathlon race distance consisted of a 1km swim, 20km cycle and 5km run so you can imagine training for such an event was not easy. Being the passionate and driven person I am, I’m incredibly thankful to every single person who supported and encouraged and also gave me the opportunity to travel the country training and racing triathlon. I loved the life of an elite athlete and always wanted more while constantly striving to be the best I could be!

I managed to graduate high school whilst holding my Australian Title, scholarships and sponsorships AND being a fully qualified Fitness Professional/Personal Trainer holding a Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness. At just 17 years old, I was so lucky to have been employed in the Fitness Centre of a University close to my home and this is where my passion for helping and inspiring others to make positive change and to create a fit and healthy lifestyle really began.
